An Exceptional Year of Fundraising Success for Heart Health

In a truly remarkable display of community spirit and generosity, the past year has been an extraordinary one for fundraising efforts aimed at promoting coronary heart disease (CHD) screening and awareness. Thanks to the tireless work of the magnificent organisers and helpers behind several standout events, an astonishing £371,100 has been raised.

The success stories include the Legends (non-Cricket) Day, with some brilliant post lunch entertainment from Jan Molby & John Barnes following umpires’ no play decision, the Memorial Golf Event, Jan’s Christmas Lunch, and the Heswall ‘Pub Crawl’, – each a special occasion that brought people together in Tim’s memory. From the camaraderie on the golf course to the festive cheer of the pub crawl, these events were a real success.

The trustees and patrons of the charity extend their heartfelt gratitude to each and every individual who contributed to this amazing achievement, whether through organising, participating, or donating.

The funds raised will go a long way in supporting the charity’s partnerships with Randox Health and GP practices in the region, enabling them to continue delivering vital preventative health services and raising awareness about the risks of coronary heart disease. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the power of collective action and the unwavering commitment to safeguarding the well-being of young adults in the region.

On behalf of all those whose lives will be positively impacted by these efforts, we extend our sincere gratitude to the organisers, helpers, and participants who made this legendary year of fundraising a resounding success. Your contributions have truly made a difference, and we look forward to continuing this vital work together.
