Tim Cogley Foundation at the Forefront of Preventative Heart Health

The Tim Cogley Foundation recently had the honour of participating in the prestigious Randox Choose Wellness Grand National hospitality event, where we shared our remarkable journey and the groundbreaking partnership that is paving the way for preventative heart health care in our region.

The ground breaking initiative brings together the charity, private, and public sectors in a unique collaboration. This pioneering partnership will continue to improve the delivery of free coronary heart disease (CHD) risk screening to individuals aged 18 to 39 across Merseyside, Chester, and West Cheshire.

The public sector component of the partnership comprises the Eastham & District (Tree Tops), Greasby, Upton & West Wirral (The Warrens) Group GP Practices, backed by leading cardiologists. Randox Health, our long time private sector partner, provides the excellent health screening services that form the backbone of our preventative care efforts.

At the heart of this initiative is the Tim Cogley Foundation itself, a testament to the unwavering support and dedication of our Trustees, Patrons, and Supporters – a “trinity” that has propelled our success.

During the event, Frank Cogley had the opportunity to share Tim’s story and the incredible journey that led to the formation of this unique partnership. His words resonated deeply with the audience, garnering strong support and backing for our mission.

The Tim Cogley Foundation’s involvement in the Randox Choose Wellness Grand National hospitality event not only showcased our achievements but also highlighted the immense potential of collaborative efforts in tackling pressing health concerns.

By bringing together diverse sectors and leveraging their respective strengths, we are paving the way for a future where preventative heart health care is accessible for all. Providing critical early detection services, together with the necessary support to ensure a healthier tomorrow for the communities we serve.
